Aubade

Greeting at the dawn,

betwixt potent lovers,

(waking daydreams conspire)

in Never-Never-Land,

amongst Peter Pan, Tink, and those rascally Lost Boys,

who were not lost,

or misplaced,

finding themselves,

(expressing and embracing)

in a skyline of stars,

twinkling,

twinkling,

this aubade,

(a signal sent by the universe)

a dedication,

to once loves,

and not-at-alls,

to bitter disillusions,

and fragile hearts,

(I plea)

to play the drama,

over and over,

again we…

I,

dreamt a dream,

made a wish,

(hopefully the same one)

to step through…

that one-sided mirror,

and make it whole.
